First Public Workshop – October 4th!

The Salt Lake City Public Library has teamed with Blalock and Partners to design a new library branch for the Marmalade community, which is slated to open at the end of 2014. It will be located on Redevelopment Agency property between 500 and 600 North and 300 and 250 West.

Blalock and Partners will be obtaining input from the community throughout the Programming and Design process. This is an amazing opportunity for the public to influence the types of programs and activities offered by the library. The building will seek to offer unique amenities and represent the character, diversity and rich history of the Marmalade district and beyond.

The public is invited to stop by the Senate Building on October 4th from 11:30 – 2:00 to share their thoughts and hear about the initial developments. Light refreshments will be provided, so come by and be a part of this exciting project!
